Cansaf has extensive experience organising programs and sending clients to Botswana, particularly Chobe. So, if you’re pressed for time there’s an option to take a day trip from Livingstone or Victoria Falls and this will include the legendary Chobe boat cruise, a full lunch buffet at the Cresta Mowana Hotel and ending off with a promised scenic game drive.

Chobe Game Lodge
Chobe Game Lodge is an elegant, 5 star, fully Ecotourism certified safari lodge and the only property located inside the world renowned Chobe National Park and set on the banks of the famous Chobe River, 20 kilometres upstream from the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi rivers. The Lodge can accommodate up to 100 people in total luxury and caters for children of all ages. The Chobe Game Lodge boma (outdoor eating area enclosed by reed walls) is situated under large Mahogany trees on the banks of the Chobe River. Chobe Safari Lodge
Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. This is the same area where 4 African countries meet: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Chobe Safari Lodge, therefore, offers an excellent getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi. Chobe Safari Lodge consists of 46 Luxury Safari Rooms, 22 Luxury River Rooms and 8 Rondavels and family rooms with a separate room for children (bunk beds).

The rooms have a modern-bush style design. The bottom rooms have verandas while the top rooms have balconies with exquisite views over Chobe National Park. The Lodge has 4 large exclusive family rooms consisting of two separate bedrooms each with its own en-suite facilities (Twin and Double beds). The rooms and facilities of Chobe Bush Lodge have mixed views over Chobe National Park and Chobe floodplains in the far distance. Cresta Mowana
On the banks of the Chobe River in Northern Botswana, a new experience awaits the inquisitive traveller to Africa. Cresta Mowana or the Great Baobab as it means in Setswana, inspired the design of the new safari lodge. The Mokoros restaurant serves delicious full English or continental breakfasts as well as light lunches and casual meals. The pool and Riverside Bars are perfect for watching the glorious sunsets while enjoying a long, cold drink. Guests can enjoy a sundowner cruise on the Chobe River from the hotel, and it gives a view of the wildlife, including numerous bird species, as you drift slowly down a side channel, where the silence is only broken by bird calls. From the comfort of your boat, you may view mighty elephant, giraffe, hippo and other wild animals returning to the Chobe River to quench their thirst.
Chobe Chilwero
Chobe Chilwero is located on the outskirts of Chobe National Park. Chilwero means “place of high view” in Setswana, and it perfectly depicts this magnificent lodge perched above the Chobe River with unparalleled panoramic views of the islands and floodplains as far as Namibia.
This boutique lodge has nine double and six twin luxury thatched cottages, all of which are individually designed to blend in perfectly with the topography and natural vegetation of the surrounding area.

The lodge has two twin cottages close to each other for families. Each luxury cottage has its own en-suite bathroom, which includes a big sunken handcrafted bath, indoor and outdoor showers, a private garden, a “sala” or private terrace, mosquito netting, ceiling fans, and air conditioning.
